We did answer this question in another article here, but let’s go at this question from a totally different perspective.

Previously we talked about a strategy to use when you’ve got a pair of ladies you want to approach and flirt with.

But, what if there’s three or more women, then what?

If you’ve got enough cojones (look it up) to approach a group of women (many guys are skittish about approaching even one woman) your flirting tactics boil down to the following 2 strategies:

1. Address all the women at once:

Striking up a conversation with a group of women and flirting is not much different than talking to one woman, you’ll ask the same kind of questions you would if you were flirting one-on-one.

The advantage to addressing the group as a whole is that you can then zero in on the one who seems to respond to you best (you’ll have to define what “best” means to you) and then begin to flirt directly with just her.

2. The other main strategy involves speaking directly to the woman you’re interested in and flirting with just her, effectively ignoring the rest of the ladies in the group.

A good suggested approach is a combination of the two: you could approach and say “hello, ladies” (they say hi back) and you follow up with another group comment such as “I couldn’t help but notice you all are having the most fun of any group here” (we’re not scripting you here, just giving you ideas to play with) and then you can zero in on the lady that’s caught your eye with a comment or question just for her: “that outfit really brings out your eyes” or “that’s a very unusual necklace, is there a story behind how you got that?”

Action step:

Try some “safe flirting” with a group of women by approaching a group of women that are not particularly attractive to you; it’s easier for most guys to approach women they’re not interested in versus approaching a group of women who have super-model good-looks.

In other articles here we’ve already covered the non-verbal aspects of flirting, so we’re not going to repeat that here – we’ll assume you’ve got that part down.

Now let’s get to the what-comes-out-of-your-mouth part.

Rule #1: Give compliments freely, but only sincerely.

Everyone has a built-in BS meter, and so does she. You can lay on the compliments pretty thick but only if you’re sincere about it and not BSing her.

Rule #2: Dont be the center of the universe.

Guys very frequently make the mistake of rambling on forever about themselves. Don’t do that.

Show some interest in her. Ask her what she enjoys in movies, food, vacations, or music.

When she answers, avoid at all costs the undeniable urge you’ll have to give your opinion about what she likes.

Instead, ask more questions that naturally arise – have a genuine sense of being curious about this person, don’t pretend to be curious, actually be curious.

Rule #3: Carry a conversational aid.

Your t-shirt, a button, a piece of jewelry, your watch – all of those things can be conversation starters.

It’s suggested that you not come across as a bragging idiot – instead, have an entertaining or spell-binding story about how you came to own that t-shirt or watch.

Also, look for her conversational aids – she’ll probably have some jewelry, handbag, laptop, book or other item you can ask her about. Ask her if there’s a story behind how she came to own it.

Rule #4: Don’t interrupt, judge, or criticize.

Somehow, girls are just plain allergic to negativity.

You’ll kill her mood to flirt like pouring sand on a fire if you start getting all critical and judgmental.

And if you’re constantly interrupting her that’s going to turn her off.

Rule #5: Be enthusiastic and learn to laugh at yourself.

You don’t have to have completely self-deprecating humor, but if you spill your coffee on your shirt while talking to her, be prepared to laugh it off. Girls like a guy who can laugh at himself and not take himself too seriously.

Finally, show some enthusiasm – that translates into charisma. If you’re showing enthusiasm for your ambitions and plans, she’ll see you as a winner in life, a go-getter… and yes, the ladies love that quality in a man!

Flirting comes natural to some. To others, they just have no idea how this flirting thing works.

Flirting, at the core, is nothing more than a sense of playfulness.

Than simply means that you should get in touch with or reconnect with your playful, fun side.

Flirting isn’t a set of skills as much as it is a sense of playfulness. Married women, being already “taken”, make for a safe flirting partner because there’s no risk for anyone involved and no real downside to a little innocent flirting with a stranger she’ll likely never see again.

A married woman is still a woman and married women generally like to feel that they are still attractive to the opposite sex. That means your flirtatiousness will very likely be received in a friendly manner, she’ll be open to a little harmless flirting with you.

So it’s a win-win situation: she gets to feel attractive without breaking her marriage vows, and you get to practice your flirting skills without risk of rejection.

One caution: feelings are real. That means that if you flirt with a married woman that you work with (for example) the flirting can get out of control if it gets into a lot of sexual innuendo and such. You both may end up fantasizing about each other and that could lead to more than just innocent flirting.

A better idea might be to restrict your flirting with married women you encounter on a one-time basis, such as at the grocery store.

In fact, grocery stores really are an ideal setting to flirt with married women in a harmless manner.

Look for the tell-tale wedding ring on the ring finger of her left hand.  A diamond ring and/or a wedding band is the obvious give-away of a married women.

She could be picking out some tomatoes, or standing in line next to you waiting to check out. One way to open up the flirting is to pay her an innocent compliment.

For example, you can directly compliment her wedding ring, and follow up with what a “lucky guy” her husband is. This will flatter her, and open the door for a little flirting between the two of you.

Action step:

Go out today to a grocery store to buy something you need. Grab a shopping cart and stroll around looking for a married woman to flirt with, and start flirting!

There are a number of options open to you at this point:

You can go over and talk directly to the woman you want to meet… she’s probably the prettier one of the two, right?

You could do that, but here’s a perhaps-better tactic:

Flirt with the one you’re not interested in!

Why? Simple.

Because the prettier one is likely the one who usually is getting hit on, and not her less-pretty-than-her friend.

As a side note, maybe that’s why she hangs out with her less-pretty friend; it boosts her self-esteem.

Anyway, it doesn’t matter if you’re interested in the pretty one or not, just start talking to the one you’re not interested in… but this works a little better if she is the pretty one because when you start flirting with her friend, she’ll start to wonder why.

“Hey!“, she’ll be thinking, “I’m the one who usually gets hit on…”

And that should be enough to trigger her natural competitiveness, and she’ll start flirting with you and trying to get your attention.

Bingo! Just what you wanted…

Of course, you have to be willing to nicely excuse yourself if the one you don’t want is suddenly all over you! – Hey, no risk, no reward, right?

Your other choices are to start talking directly to the one you’re interested in, or you could just start flirting with both of them!

Go find a pair of women and start talking to the less-hot of the two, and see how the hot one reacts.
