So you’re new to flirting or maybe you’re newly single and have forgotten how.

Let’s get you started out on the right track with some tips on how to flirt:

Tip #1 -  “The Eyes Have It”:

All flirting starts with a little eye contact.

A little eye contact – you don’t want to stare or give her the “bedroom eyes”, at least not yet.

Initial eye contact for effective flirting is “getting caught” giving her a sideways glance, then playfully looking away.

A sideways glance means you’re not directly facing her, and your head is even slightly cocked at an angle – this denotes playfulness as opposed to staring straight at her which conveys aggressiveness.

Let her catch you glancing at her a couple of times, then move on to the next step, which is our next tip:

Tip #2 – “Smile When You Say That, Stranger!”

After a couple of playful glances, it’s time to add a little smile.

A little smile – this is not the time for some giant, ear to ear grin. You can more directly face her with your smile, but a slight angle away is a little more playful and flirtatious.

Look for her to return the smile.

Tip #3 – “Mirror Mirror on the Wall…”

If you’re not already mirroring her body posture, now’s the time to start.

You and she have been doing a little innocent glancing and smiling, and you want to be sure you’re “non-threatening” in your body language.

Placing your body posture in a “similar but not exact” position conveys to her non-verbally that you are “like her” and people like people who are like themselves.
